Life gets hard for many of us at times, and hope and improvement can be found. I specialize in couple, marital, family and individual therapy. I have practiced in the Quad City area for twenty years and am a Clinical Fellow with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
My educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from St. Ambrose, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Drake, and a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brigham Young University. I was a teacher for over twenty years before entering the therapy field. I continued my work with the Davenport Community School District while I transitioned to the therapy field. My school experience has helped me to understand many of the issues that are present for adults and children alike.
I have successfully helped a wide variety of individuals, couples and families of many races, ethnicities, socio-economic groups, and couple and family orientations in my years of service. You will find me to be practical, caring, and direct in my approach.
